Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter of Richard McCormick. She was born August 5th 1956 on the outskirts of Woodland Hills California. Her father taught school and her mom was a domestic worker. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two brothers older. At a young age McCormick loved to sing and dance and would often present puppet shows to youngsters in the area. The fairytale story of her rise to fame began when she was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was six, which prompted an inquiry from an agent for talent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency and asked her if she'd like to enter the show industry. McCormick got her first big job when she was cast in the 1964 television commercial of Mattels new baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she appeared in the role of Chatty Cathy in a commercial and was then cast for Wind It up and It's Broken at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned to play the youngest daughter of the three towheaded girls on The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson, Robert Reed as well as a brand new family. This show lasted for five seasons. In her book Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice published in 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the shows fifth season she nearly lost her virginity to her screen co-star and brother Barry Williams. He was just 19. She was 16. We would've had a romance, she said. However, the timing was not right.
