Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox took classes in piano, flute as well as harpsichord at Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 70s. She was able to survive with the stipend she received from her students as she worked part-time. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill when compared with her peers and was contemplating a different direction she would take. Lennox was a flute player in the band Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band before the band went on I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980, she sang in The Tourists. A British pop group. She met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox started work on Diva in 1992. It was her debut solo album. It received lots of praise from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album, released in October 2014 was Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox selected her favorites soul jazz blues tracks from childhood. Lepidoptera is a collection of four improvised tracks for piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. This E.P. She released her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish politician, philanthropist and musician and singer. After a brief success as a member of the band called The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to become internationally renowned as the duo known as Eurythmics during the 80s. Lennox debuted her solo music career in 1992 with the album Diva. It included a number of well-known songs, including Walking on Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You. Medusa is her album of studio work from 1995. It features cover versions of some songs, including"No MoreI love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. She has released six solo studio albums and compilation albums. |
